Famous Footwear

With the closing of HOTSKATES in Long Island that was and is popular to skaters within the tri-state area. We are hearing the devastating news of yet another closing roller-skating facility. Where will go now? The popularity and momentum was building up at Hotskates from great heath awareness events, birth day celebrations to radio and television crews at the location showcasing the skills of skaters from various cities. The travel was a bit to much for some with the toll expenses but yet it was worth the ride if you are a true "skater of the arts."  We will miss the big skating rink joined by skaters who laughed, cried on various events there.

The only other convenient locations will be Branch Brook,  Roller Jam, USA Skating, Brooklyn Skates, Lefrak Center in Brooklyn.  We truly need a permanent home for the artistic skaters who use skating as a passion and enjoyment in their everyday lives. We need a skating rink to call home in the Bronx where there is property space to construct such a facility.  Lets keep dreaming for that skating rink we can truly call home with community support from everyone in making a fun safe environment to all.
